The largest tropical garden in Singapore is a spectacular development designed by Wilkinson Eyre Architects and landscape architects Grant Associates. The Gardens by the Bay has been designed as a series of distinct ecosystems which consists of three waterfront gardens — Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden and Bay Central Garden.

Dominating the landscape are the unique Supertrees tree-like structures, and two waterfront conservatories which are among the largest climate-controlled glasshouses in the world.

Located next to the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort, Gardens by the Bay is part of the masterplan strategy to transform Singapore from a "Garden City" to a "City in a Garden".
