Hotel Amsterdam Zaandam in the suburb of Amsterdam, the Netherlands is a whimsical real life gingerbread house. The concrete building with a quirky facade of irregularly stacked Dutch wooden houses is the work of WAM architecten. The traditional houses in bright green and blue speaks the architectural language of the region. This 160-room hotel has individually designed guest rooms which refer to typical products from the Zaan region.
位于荷兰阿姆斯特丹郊区的阿姆斯特丹赞丹酒店是一座现实生活中的古怪的姜饼屋。由WAM建筑师工作室设计完成的这座混凝土建筑，其外观看起来却像是不规则堆叠的木制房屋。明亮的绿色和传统民居所用的蓝色是该地区的建筑语言。这家160间客房的酒店，每间客房的设计都是别出心裁，都代表着赞丹地区的特色产品。
